Billing

SetBase Pro offers a basic free account with core functionality that you can use forever. No payment is needed to start or maintain a free account. You may optionally upgrade to a premium account to access advanced features.

Premium subscriptions are billed as an annual recurring fee. Payments made on SetBase Pro are processed by Stripe, a secure payment network. You can pay with a credit card or other payment methods depending on your location and the device you're using. Payments made within the mobile apps are processed by the app store from which you installed the app. You can pay with the payment method on file with that app store.

Prices for premium upgrades made on the website are listed on the Upgrade page. Prices for payments made within the apps might vary due to platform fees and are listed on the app intro pages.

Premium upgrades are billed as a recurring annual subscription (e.g., £19.99 per year). By default, premium subscriptions will auto-renew annually. We will save your payment info in Stripe's secure vault, email a reminder before your subscription renews, and charge your card on the renewal date.

If you wish to disable auto-renewal, please email us at info@setbasepro.com and we will process the cancellation for you. If you pay within a mobile app, Apple or Google will handle your auto-renewal and you can cancel it in your device settings.

If you have a problem after a renewal or payment, please email info@setbasepro.com within 7 days and we will attempt to resolve the problem. Payments made within the apps might require contacting the app store to request a refund.

You can ask us to cancel your subscription at any time. Once cancelled, you will retain access for the remainder of your billing cycle. After it expires, your account will revert to the free basic tier.

Account

Your SetBase Pro account is for your personal use. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Within your account, you can join or create "Bands" to collaborate with other musicians. When you share setlists or songs with a Band, all members of that Band will have access to that shared data.

You may not resell access to your SetBase Pro account or share your login credentials with others. Each musician must create their own personal account.

Data

SetBase Pro hosts your data on its servers and manages the syncing of data between your devices. While we run multiple backup systems to protect your data, we cannot be liable for any data loss. Your use of this service is at your own risk. If you wish, you can back up your data yourself.

By default, your data is only accessible to users you add to your account. However, SetBase Pro includes some functions that let you email or export data like set lists and song lyrics to whomever you choose. You are responsible for any data that you share with these functions.

If your paid account expires, we will save your data for a grace period in case you decide to renew your subscription. If you wish to permanently save your data without renewing, you can export your data before your account expires.

SetBase Pro claims no ownership of and takes no responsibility for ensuring the proper ownership of files you upload to its servers.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

SetBase Pro allows users to upload, store, and share text, lyrics, chord charts, and other materials. You retain all ownership rights to your original content. However, by uploading content, you represent and warrant that you own the rights to the content or have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses to use and share it.

You may not use SetBase Pro to publicly distribute or sell copyrighted material, including but not limited to commercial sheet music or lyrics, without the explicit authorization of the copyright holder. Private sharing of materials solely with your own bandmates or authorized account users for the purpose of rehearsal and performance is permitted. You are solely responsible for any copyright infringement or other legal issues that arise from the content you store or share using our services.

SetBase Pro respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We reserve the right to remove any content that is alleged to infringe on the copyright of a third party, and to terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
